Welcome To Living Supercentenarians

This site is dedicated to verified living Supercentenarians (supercentenarians - people who have reached the age of at least 110 years). Our validated living supercentenarians list is updated daily with any changes that have been validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). The GRG estimates that there are between 300 and 450 living supercentenarians worldwide.

The GRG lists people as verified super centenarians if their age has been validated by an international body that specifically deals in longevity research, and if they have been confirmed to be alive within the past year. Verification usually requires that three documents contain the same date of birth.

Currently there are 71 verified living supercentenarians and 23 of these have been validated as being born in the 1800's.

The oldest verified living supercentenarian in the world is American Besse Cooper.

Here she is with her 115th Birthday cake! Congratulations Besse. Currently, Besse is the 10th oldest undisputed person in history and the fifth undisputed oldest American ever.
